Exciting news:
Hurricane Productions is rebranding! We now have four committees: HP At Nite, HP At The Rat, HP Collective, and HP Live!

HP Live plans and executes music-based events on campus. Examples of these events include Homecoming Concert, student performers at Lakeside Patio, Dining Halls, or coffee places on campus, listening parties, Battle of the Bands, and collaborate with fellow programs or external student organizations.

HP Live is seeking paid student performers for Patio Jams during the Fall 2026 semester!

In order to perform, you must be available from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. All of these performances will take place at the Lakeside Patio Stage.

Please note HP Live will provide a sound engineer and backline (except personal amps: bass, guitar, etc). This will need to be finalized two weeks prior to the performance.

Performers are expected to provide their bands with all necessary practice tools such as charts.

Would you also like to be considered to perform for Battle of the Bands?
Applications for Battle of the Bands will open later but this can count towards your application.

Battle of the Bands will showcase 7 student performers / bands. The winner, chosen by audience vote, will open for the Homecoming Artist (TBA) on Wednesday, November 11th at 8:00 p.m. in the Watsco Center. Battle of the Bands is not a paid opportunity, but the Homecoming Concert opener(s) will be paid.

In order to perform at Battle of the Bands, you must be available for the following:
